A 19th century copper and brass binnacle compass by F. Dent, London, no.1989, 22cm. Condition - poor to fair

With lead-weighted magnetic compass, now shown, which does appear to be working, although not guaranteed; edge of brass rim dented; on gimbal but detached; complete with all fittings to re-connect to binnacle. Glasses good; sliding brass bolt at front is loose; oil lamp to side with wick.
