A LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE HARDWOOD WALKING CANE WITH SILVER HANDLE, the handle with four character marks in relief, the thumb rest bears monogram for Thomas Aiers, the hardwood shaft part carved with dragons amongst swirling clouds, the silver mount bears character marks, possibly rubbed initials or character marks, length approximately 90cm (condition report: the handle has a number of dents, particularly to the rounded end, also partial rubbing to one mark)
