Hepplewhite style satinwood shield back carver armchair, with carved swag and rosette decoration, over an upholstered stuffover seat, on reeded tapering square front legs 23" wide, 21" deep, the seat 19" high, the back 38" high
Clear from images that the chair requires reupholstering, the seat structure is fair with no wobble, the right arm has detached at the join where it meets the back support and is rather loose at the front of the arm over the upright support which will require attention and refixing, doesn't appear to be a break, though the dowels to the interior have failed and the join needs refixing, the legs are secure, age consistent minor splits to the timber surface around the corners.
