CATALOGUE AMENDMENT: We believe this is a restrike and not a 17th century contemporary print. Paulus Potter (Dutch, 1625-1654): a 19th / 18th century bookplate restrike etching of 'The Frisian Horse', the horse looking across the landscape close to The Hague with the Reformed Church of Voorschoten in the background, the church reversed by the etching process in the image, signed and dated to the plate lower right, 15 by 23cm.
