the ovoid body raised on three ruyi-head feet on a stepped, splayed foot, the shoulder applied with fern frond handles and moulded with a continuous band of trailing wisteria, the domed cover surmounted by a shishi knop, the sides with panels of a Daimyo's procession and with travellers under bamboo on a country road, the foot and shoulder with bands of diaper designs, the base with the Shimazu Mon and the manufacturer's seal Futaji, with retailer's paper label affixed. 19.5cm high
