A WW2 casualty medal group of three and documentary archive relating to 969293 Sergeant Thomas Wallace R.A.F., who was reported missing as the result of an aircraft accident occurring on 23rd November 1942; the medal group comprising War Medal, 1939-1945 Star and Africa Star with North Africa 1942-43 clasp; the archive comprised of various telegrams and letters, mostly concerning Wallace's death, also including his cloth Wings patch and two group photographs; together with a Red Cross Proficiency in nursing medal awarded to 14213 A.D. Murray
Medals are in good general condition, with light tarnish and fading to ribbons. Wear and marks to the card box. Cloth wings patch is a little faded. Red Cross medal is in good condition, though packet is tattered. Correspondence is generally in good condition: all clearly legible and without any significant damage. Creasing and minor foxing is the worst of it. Large photograph is creased and torn round edges.
