Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint a little dirty, one L shaped dented tear showing near 3 o'clock and a further dented tear near his left hand, with a little scuffing just below it, apparently unsigned, housed in the original ornate gilt gesso frame which has some scattered loss and title plaque inscribed 'Presented by Henry G. Neville, a portrait of himself as Count Almaviva painted by John W. Walton and numbered 95', cracks running through this title plaque.
