A pair of 19th century French porcelain cachepot by Rihouet, Paris, with twin handles, the front hand-painted with cherubs representing the arts, the back with fruit and flower spray, the top with meandering rose frieze in blue ribbon and hanging graduated pearls, the underside with gilt signature, 18.5 cm high x 19 cm diameter

More Information

One cachepot with break repair to body (see condition photos). Loss of gilding to both, mainly to the top rims. Minor scuffs and losses to the paint. Wear to undersides commensurate with age and use.
