A 17th century century hardwood rectangular table box, probably Indo-Portuguese, hinged cover inlaid with strapwork and flowers, enclosing a till, 24.5cm wide, c.1690
Please see attached images. An honest box with some losses and old repairs, including some later timbers where an old lock once was. Some shrinking and warping. Bone marquetry.
