Victorian British 1897 pattern sword with acid etched blade bearing the VR cipher. Pierced basket guard and silver wire wrapped fish skin handle. The ricasso in etched lettering reads; "Robt Mole & Sons Birmingham. Makers to the war and India offices". Original leather scabbard present but worn. Blade length 82cm.
