1842 Victoria silver Halfcrown (S 3888, ESC 675, Bull 2717). Obverse: 'Young Head' portrait with the date (1842) below and 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA' around, no initials on the truncation. Reverse: crowned shield of royal arms within a wreath with 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around. Weight: 14.12g. Diameter: 32mm. Grade: VF - attractive toning with some colour around the legends, trivial die flaws to the obverse and contact marks, Very Fine or slightly better.
