1896 ½c SURCHARGE IN COMPLETE SHEET: 1896 ½c surcharge (Type 5 - narrow top to "f") in blue, on 1895 5c orange, no wmk, p.11½, complete sheet of 40 (5 x 8) with marginal selvedge, stamp 23 variety "Gent" for "Cent", position R.5/3 (SG 26/a). Unused with original gum, some natural bends and very light overall toning. Other constant varieties in the surcharge are: Stamp 5 - broken "f" of "Half", Stamp 8 - broken "a", Stamp 27 - broken "C" and Stamp 37 - "H" without horizontal stroke. (Livingstone 16, a-e).
