A JAPANESE SAUCER DISH 18TH CENTURY, of decagonal form, painted to the centre with a Buddhist lion in blue enamel and iron red in Kakiemon style, the yellow ground border with circular medallions of phoenix, peony and bamboo, the obverse in underglaze blue and white in the late Ming Kraak porcelain style, central seal mark, 31cm diameter (broken, chipped and repaired).
