Victoria (1837-1901), Crown, 1898, LXII edge, old head coroneted and veiled left, T.B. below denoting engraver Thomas Brock, legend toothed border both sides, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. Rev, Saint George on horseback slaying dragon, date in exergue, B.P. in upper right for Benedett o Pistrucci, edge inscription DECVS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI LXII (S.3937; ESC.315; Bull. 2605). A scarcer year in the series with even surfaces, a well struck up example. Some contact marks, very common in this series of Crowns. Extremely fine, reverse lustrous.
