Ten British War Office official photographs, taken April 1945 at the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, each with typed text taped to the reverse, most entitled 'Belsen Horror Camp', photos include Camp Commander SS-Hauptsfurmfuhrer Joseph Kramer and female guard Irma Grese who was in charge of the 'Death Cells', who became known, respecitvely, following the subsequent trials as the 'Beast of Belsen' and the 'Hyena of Auschwitz'. Due to the sensitive and upsetting nature of many of the photographs only certain ones have been illustrated. Further photos can be provided upon request.
