Badge: Hampshire Regiment Officer's White Field Service Helmet and Forage Cap badge in silver an eight pointed, diamond cut star on the star the Garter, and motto pierced, ensigned with a crown in gilt metal - within the Garter the Rose on a ground of red enamel. On the lower part of the star a scroll inscribed HAMPSHIRE. (Kipling & King 1961). The badge is in excellent condition and complete with both lugs.
