A Chinese pale celadon jade ‘Eight Daoist emblems’ multi-plaque wedding pendant, 19th century, the reticulated upper arched pendant carved and pierced with twin phoenixes mid peonies flanking a character, 13.5 cm wide, suspended with a HeHe Erxian plaque, the other eight plaques carved and pierced with the Daoist immortals emblems, the stone of good even tone, the cord with endless knot motifs, 32cm drop

Provenance- owned by the same family since the 1930s.

More Information

All of the jade plaques are a little grubby in between the carving and would benefit from a clean, the cords are all very grubby as well.
There are some tiny nicks to the edge of the large plaque at the top and one of the eight Daoist emblems has a crack to the edge of the plaque, otherwise in good condition.
