A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS, 1935, from a Great Eastern Railway D15 Class 4-4-0 No 1814, LNER D16 Class No 8814, built at Stratford in May 1910 and rebuilt and re-classified to D16/3 in 1935. Renumbered 2585 in 1946, it became BR 62585. Its BR sheds were Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge from where it was withdrawn in April 1955 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
