A rare and early stainless steel Tudor Submariner wristwatch, reference number 7923, circa 1958
This watch, probably had a Radium dial and pencil hands, these would have been replaced as part of a Tudor service in the 60s.
Currently has Tritium dial and Mercedes hands.
The seconds hand colour matching the hour markers
The hour and minute hands have both probably been re-lumed at a later date.
It is believed the early bezel insert was replaced in a 1960s service
The watch is currently working, though would benefit from a service, it has not been worn by the current owner for several years
Screw down bezel tarnished.
This is a very rare serial number
The bracelet with folded steel links, ref 7836 with replaced 358 end pieces.
