A brass barrelled and brass framed flintlock boxlock blunderbuss pistol with spring bayonet, by Walklate, London c 1810, 13” overall, bell mouth barrel 6½” with Tower private proofs; the 6½” spring bayonet beneath the barrel released by a second trigger within the trigger guard; bone tipped ramrod with iron worm on the left of the barrel; the frame engraved with trophies of flags and signed in oval panels; with top safety and plain walnut slab butt.
