Folkestone. 1865 (Feb 10) Cover to the USA bearing France 80c (torn, trimmed perfs at base) cancelled by "FOLKESTONE / 303" sideways duplex, a very light impression of the red MB datestamp at lower left, probably overweight and insufficiently paid, therefore treated as wholly unpaid in London. Sent on the Cunard "China" with black "19 / CENTS" debit handstamp and "NY 24 BR PKT / OR US 47 NOTES" c.d.s. A very unusual Mobile Box cover to the USA. Photo on Page 74.
