AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY FRENCH 13 BORE FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN SIGNED THIOSSIERE FRERES with 50" octagonal to round browned sighted barrel with engraved breech and gold inlaid tang, signed blued lockplate with recessed tail engraved with a goose and boar, gold inlaid and engraved swan neck hammer, the pan and frizzen also gold inlaid, the brass side plate finely engraved with a hunting scene, highly figured walnut full stock finely carved behind the tang and to the ramrod aperture with silver inlay surrounding the engraved brass butt plate, brass engraved trigger guard surrounded by raised carved edge, original steel ramrod (167cm overall)
