Provenance: given to the vendor by Pat Graham-Gardiner in 1984. PGG grew up with Rudolf Sauter and was adopted by the author John Galsworthy

UV facility unfortunately not available at Charterhouse. Frame probably not original and parting at the joints. Would benefit from being re-framed. Dark glue like marks all the way around the edge of the canvas, possible from when it may have been in a different frame. Some small marks to paint and a couple of small scratches. Appears to be in original unrestored condition. Provenance as described in the condition report already.
