A PAIR OF CHINESE LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY PORCELAIN DOWAGER EMPRESS STYLE COVERED VASES, of baluster form, painted with black dragons amongst white chrysanthemums and peonies on a turquoise ground, with gilt modelled dragons around the neck and forming the finial, bases unmarked, with wooden stands, height including stands 27.5cm (2 + 2 stands) (Condition Report: both vases have chips to rim, one has a loss to part of a modelled dragon, the other has hairlines from the rim, one cover has extensive repairs and chips, the other has a hairline and chips, both dragon finials have losses, otherwise appear ok)
