A FINE NIELLO DECORATED COSSACK KINJAL DAGGER. With a 35cm tapering, pointed blade with central triple fuller, etched decoration to the centre and stamped marks, The Narrow grip in unmarked silver with niello decoration and allover finely engraved foliate decoration, the scabbard similarly decorated with beaded decoration and raised foliage, 48cm overall. Apparently obtained by the vendor's Father when prospecting for oil in the Caucasus in 1912. *Condition: Slight degradation to the end of the blade, a fine presentation quality example.
