WW2 Divisional Painted Steel Helmet
painted crown showing sand paint with over painted, thick texture paintwork which has been done around the hand painted blue, white and red rectangle. Traces of inner paintwork. MKIII strap retaining clips dated "1940". Black treated linen liner with cruciform crown pad. Khaki elasticated chinstrap. Exterior with varied loss of finish.
