1796 Pattern Cavalry Sword


33 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with wide fuller. Back edge with faint maker's name.  Steel crossguard with downswept quillon.  Double langets.  Stirrup knuckle bow.  Steel backstrap with grip ears.  Leather covered, wooden ribbed grip.  Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  Maker stamped but faint.  Minor pitting to external steel.
