From the 'Travel Series' (Provinces Cycle'). Obv: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare-headed and draped bust right. Rev: ADVENTVI AVG MAVRETANIAE, Emperor standing right, raising hand and holding scroll; facing him, Mauretania standing left, holding patera and cornucopia; between them, altar with bull at the base; S-C across fields.
