An early 20th century Japanese hardwood folding occasional table, the top carved 'Motor Machine Gunner Service' the collapsible base carved with dragons, 53cms (21ins) wide. Note: The Motor Machine Gun Service (MMGS) was formed in 1914, then disbanded and incorporated into the Machine Gun Corps in October 1915, when the name and badge changed to the Machine Gun Corps (Motors) (MMG).
