Various coins, including a 2009 UK proof coin set in its original display case, a 2008 Queen Elizabeth I £5 Piedfort silver proof coin (a limited edition of 2,000) and a 2008 UK Olympic Games handover ceremony silver proof Piedfort £2 coin (only 3,000 minted). The 2009 set includes a crown to mark the 500th anniversary of the accession of Henry VIII, a £2 coin to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and a £2 piece to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth as well as a 50p coin for the 250th anniversary of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. There are also four sets of 1953 base UK coins (each with nine coins – the farthing to the halfcrown), including the scarcer penny, in plastic sleeves (but note some verdigris has affected the condition of all the coins; and a 1977 base Queen’s silver Jubilee Crown.
