A FINE PAIR OF SHAPED CIRCULAR CABINET PLATES by H Martin, the centres painted with blossom, peaches and redcurrants, the other with plums, blossom and strawberries, the royal blue shaped borders with gilt foliate scrolls and seeding, alternately worked rim with shells and stylised batwings in gilt on royal blue on a shaded pink ground, 24cm diameter, printed marks in puce, 8346 in iron red. Peaches and redcurrants - No cracks
There are several tiny chips on the rim and a small amount of rubbing.
Two or three light scratches to glaze.
No rubbing on gilt border.
Plums and strawberries - There is a crack running from rim approximately 3.5cm.
Fine crazing.
There are several tint chips to the rim and one larger chip which, together with some of the tiny ones, has been touched in with gilt.
Tiny scratch to glaze.
