£90
A late 19c French mantel clock in green onyx case with cast gilt mounts. The case has a rounded top and bulbous base and is surmounted by a slim urn with green onyx body and gilt garlands forming the handles. The movement has a cream enamel dial with Arabic numerals and painted swags between and is rack striking on a gong. The case has cast gilt scroll feet and cast foliage and bound cane decoration fixed to the case front. The clock stands 43cm h.
The dial and the glass are undamaged as is the onyx case. The mounts have been badly cleaned and some of the mounts need fixing firmly. The movement seems complete apart from 1 screw in the gong.
