Engine - J.A.P 500cc long five, 45 bhp and 6000 rpm
Clutch - Norton, multiplate

Rogers reasoned that if the front forks could always remain (even on full lock) in the centre line of the frame, the more traction would be gained as a result of the front wheel no longer tending to drift outwards.
