R.M.S. TITANIC: Sir Arthur Rostron KBE, RD, RNR Master of the Carpathia's personally issued bronze Dieges and Clust Carpathia medal with original ribbon and box of issue. Although Sir Arthur was awarded a gold Carpathia medal, he was also given this example which has been kept in the Rostron family since 1912. It is being sold via direct descent. This is without doubt the finest and rarest bronze Carpathia medal in existence today. Ex-Henry Aldridge and Son lot 332 November 2012, prior via direct descent.
