Collection of mortars, some in 17th century manner, and a few pestles (12). One decorated around the rim with 'soli deo Gloria 1675,' one with armorial crest, one with dragons, one ribbed example, one stone example with matching pestle. One large pestle 26cm long, two further metal pestles and a glass example. Soli deo Gloria mortar 17cm in diameter, 10cm high. Crested 13cm in diameter, 10.5cm high. Dragon 8.5cm high 12cm in diameter. From a Suffolk country house.
