MARIONI, LARGE PAIR OF ITALIAN TERRACOTTA FIGURES OF KNIGHTS ON HORSEBACK. Possibly by or after a design of Eugenio Pattarino, two large terracotta groups of Knights on horseback, each brightly painted holding shields and with various regalia. Marked underneath, 'Marioni, P, and with an old Harrod's label'. 43cms and 42cms high. *CR Figure holding a hat, back of blue cloak has a small piece missing, a few small nibbles/chips around the base
The other, visible crack inside the base (see images), the material at the front under the horses legs have pieces missing at the ends, nibbles/chips around the base.
