Naval Officers sword 1805 pattern, Blue & Gilt blade, Senior Ranks example, fouled anchor on hilt langet, complete with leather and brass mounted scabbard, some surface blade corrosion which would improve, in its wax protective sheath. Vendor states the sword belonged to Commander Archibald Bryan Meheux RN, Commissioned Lieut. 28/2/1825, Commander 01/07/1864 Died 1877
