An 18th century oak-cased single-hand 30-hour longcase clock; the 11" brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and subsidiary date aperture, the four ornately pierced spandrels headed with masks and flanking an applied silver disc signed 'Donisthorp, 1752, Normanton', the dial flanked by two columns and a rectangular trunk door below with the medullary rays visible as decorative ornament, with shaped apron and raised on bracket-style feet, the brass movement striking on a bell (with pendulum and weight) 190cm high
