EXETER/ NORTH DEVON (?) SEALED CYLINDER WINE BOTTLE. 10.7ins tall. Heavy black glass cylinder, long neck (tiny inside flake - decorking?) with shallow string rim below, kick up & base pontil. Crisply struck detailed body seal featuring a coronet above a decorative R. Possibly from the Rolle family although there is a suggestion it was from the Duke of Rutland? Exc/A1.
