A LATE 19TH CENTURY CASED SET OF SILVER PLATED BERRY SPOONS, circa 1895, Birmingham maker’s mark of JS & S for John Sherwood & Sons to the reverse of two, along with their left facing ‘beaver’ figural trademark. The case is from Walter Sexton of Grafton St. The spoons are wonderfully decorated; two with open work design to the stem & tip showing an owl perched between branches, & two with embossed detail to the bowls with brightcut engraving to the stem & tips. A lovely antique set. Spoons in great condition; just need polishing; the case needs a little work.
