Good small English ebonised double fusee bracket clock, the 3.25" silvered dial and movement back plate signed Arnold & Dent, Strand, London, with subsidiary strike/silent dial to the arch, within an ormolu mounted canted stepped case surmounted by a caddy top with ornate carrying handle, 17" high (Pendulum, winding and case keys)

**From 1830-1840 Edward John Dent and John Roger Arnold were in Partnership and traded under the company name Arnold & Dent.

**This clock is sold with a purchase receipt from W.F. Turk dated 26th February 1997; also an insurance valuation fro the same dealers for £7900 and a receipt from the Clock Workshop at Caversham for work done to overhaul the movement dated 17th March 2003

Generally condition is very good with only expected wear and tear for age, with some hairline cracks in the ebonised case and loss of gilding. See images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
