A 19th century oak Arts & Crafts oak Sussex chair, in the manner of William Birch for Liberty & Co.. A/F.
Seat is in need of restoration. Frame appears solid, with no obvious damage, defects or signs of worm.
Overall width 54cm, height 43cm, depth approximately 55cm. Seat width 45cm, height 43cm, depth 43cm.
Little to no movement in joints. Some abrasions visible to front corners of seat, and some splitting to the trim pinned over the top of the cane on the right hand side.
