Railway. B.R. Steam, Industrial Steam, Modern traction and Infrastructure. A collection of approx. 150 x 35mm, colour slides, all on Kodak film stock (22 are 1" square format). The collection is housed in pvc protective wallets. The slides were taken by the late Christopher John Yapp of Leeds in 1968 and appear to be whole films, as such they do include some non-railway subjects-these are not included in the count. We will be selling other slides from the collection in future auctions. These are the earliest slides in the collection, overall exposures are good. The slides feature a good quantity of BR Steam, Industrial steam-working, modern traction, stations, signal boxes etc. Locations noted: Blandford Forum Station, Corfe Castle Station, Manchester Victoria, Kemsley Paper Mill-Bowaters, APCM Swanscombe Works, M.O.D. Longmoor Railway, Holmwood Station, Rose Grove mpd, Lostock Hall mpd, Carnforth etc. The slides come with a comprehensive caption list, all the slides are numbered to coincide with the captions.
