A scarce 1930's American gauge 1 electric 3 rail Lionel Trains Set. Comprising an impressive 0-4-0 electric Steeple Cab style locomotive with small single pantograph, two electric lights, one at each end, cow catchers, whistle, hand rails and cooling grills to either side. Finished in grey with dark grey roof with red highlighting and black frames with couplings front and rear. Together with 3 clerestory coaches- an observation coach, with veranda to rear, coach 341. A Pullman Car, coach 339 and a Railway Mail Car, coach 332, each with opening doors, sliding in the case of the Railway Mail Car. All bogie examples finished in grey with maroon window surrounds, doors and other highlighting. Each with coupling at each end and fitted with an electrical pick-up probably for internal lighting. In its original box with some paperwork and a quantity of curved and straight 3 rail track. Box is significantly worn and damaged.
