Sevres style hand decorated porcelain vase lamp, with brass mounts and decorated with gilded panels featuring a chateau and courting couple in 18th Century style, against a bleu de roi ground, terracotta fabric shade, height 125cm, the shade 48cm diameter

The gilt finish on the brass mounts is a little worn, there is a drill hole through the base to accommodate the cable. Currently the cable is not fed through this hole. The porcelain appears to be in good condition throughout.
For information one of the painted panels is signed 'Rochette'.
There are no major losses to the gilding, no unsightly scratches found.
The shade is a little old fashioned but in good condition. The lamp is fitted for electricity and currently works and has been PAT tested.
