William Moorcroft (1872-1945) for MacIntyre & Co. - a 1903 Florian Ware tube lined glazed ceramic twin handled vase in the Daisies pattern. The vase in yellow, cobalt blue and green colourways. Underside with printed Macintyre mark and painted 'W.M.des'. Brown painted number M1615.
Acquired by current owner at Fryer & Brown Auctioneers, lot 312 in 22nd July 2015, hammer price of £480. Previous to that, records show Bonhams has sold this piece in the Richard Wright Collection of Moorcroft Pottery auction, lot 520, Bonhams, 21 September 2010, sold for £720 incl. premium.
