.177, 19 1/2 inch, blued fixed barrel.  Front blade sight and rear adjustable block sight.  Lower cocking lever.  Side loading gate lever.  Blued body marked "The BSA Air Rifle (Improved Model D)".  Rear, lift up peep sight.  Blued steel trigger guard.  Polished wooden butt with checkered pistol grip.  Steel butt plate.
