A FIRST WORLD WAR MEMORIAL PLAQUE AND VICTORY MEDAL TO THE WEST KENT AND MIDDLESEX REGIMENTS. A Victory Medal named to 2155 Pte P.R. Blackman W. Kent Yeo, Memorial Plaque to Percy Roland Blackman. A native of Lydd in Kent, Percy Blackman was the son of Thomas and Ellen Blackman of the Green, Broughton Monchelsea, Maidstone, he served with the West Kent Yeomanry and 13th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment) with number G/43129, he was killed in action on the 28th September 1916 and is buried at Villers Station cemetery, Villers-au-Bois, his headstone reads 'Never Forgotten' he was 20 years old. With a photograph of the headstone. *CR normal light surface marks. Plaque drilled in two places for mounting. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
