Major H. Sainsbury, late 1st Battalion D. C. L. I. A retrospect of interesting events in the 32nd light infantry, later 1st battalion. 'Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry,' 1931, first edition and possibly one of five or six, a very interesting and detailed account from times in King Williams Town, South Africa in the 1870’s, returning to England via the coaling station on Ascension Island, later moved to Gibraltar, then Malta and ultimately Mandalay, a presentation copy to captain E. J. Buller M.C. Duke of Cornwall’s light infantry, signed Major H. Sainsbury, tipped in a letter to Major Buller asking him to upon receipt effectively proofread the work and report back, 163 pages in typescript, a fine binding. Very Scarce.
