Good English walnut single fusee bracket clock, the 6" brass chapter ring enclosing an engine turned centre and signed Viner, Regent Str either side of twelve o'clock, the five pillar movement with long shoulders to the shaped plates and with locking pendulum, within a well made later stepped case inlaid with burr walnut and chevron banded spandrels, surmounted by a caddy top and brass carrying handle, 15.25" high (pendulum and keys)
** This clock bears a rectangular plaque fitted to the inside of the back door inscribed Repaired by Camerer Cuss & Co, 54 & 56 New Oxford St., London est. 1788. It is probable that these makers were responsible for making the case in the early part of the 20th century
